Business Identity Data: Legal company name, GSTIN, PAN, and authorized representative details.
Operational Data: Geographic coordinates (GPS pins) captured when uploading inventory photos to verify material location.
Media and Communication: Images of scrap metal uploaded to the platform and all text communications routed through our internal chat system.
Financial Data: Transaction histories, billing details, and escrow records (Note: Full bank account routing for payouts is securely tokenized via our RBI-authorized payment gateway partners).

2. How We Use Your Data

Transaction Fulfillment: To auto-generate compliant GST invoices and manage escrow fund routing.
AI Model Training: Images uploaded to LohaLink are aggregated and anonymized to train and improve our proprietary AI Vision models for better scrap categorization.
Platform Security: Chat logs are monitored by automated systems strictly to prevent fraud, off-platform circumvention, and the trade of prohibited materials.

3. Data Masking (Double-Blind Privacy)

To ensure your security and the integrity of the marketplace, LohaLink employs a double-blind data system. Exact yard locations and personal contact numbers are hidden from other users. This sensitive data is only revealed to the counterparty after funds have been successfully locked in escrow.

4. Data Sharing and Third Parties

We do not sell your data. We share necessary data only with:

Payment Gateways & Escrow Providers: To process transactions legally and securely.
Verification APIs: To continuously monitor the validity of your GSTIN against government databases.
Trade Finance Partners (NBFCs): Only if you explicitly apply for "LohaLink Pay Later" or similar credit facilities.

5. Data Retention

As a B2B platform processing financial transactions, LohaLink retains user data, transaction ledgers, and chat logs for a minimum of eight (8) years to comply with Indian corporate, taxation, and anti-money laundering laws.
